Thanksgiving Day Outfits

Thanksgiving typically means traveling, at least in my case, which means that whether I’m dressing up or down, I need options. Above I’ve complied three outfits, so that no matter what your holiday looks like, you can have a little inspiration.

OUTFIT ONE// The Homebody

If you plan on spending your Thanksgiving inside, just chilling with family and good food, this is the perfect outfit. A cozy, soft sweater paired with some baggy, forgiving jeans lets you look put together while feeling crazy comfortable. Throw on a pair of sleek, black booties and you’ve got the perfect look for the day.

OUTFIT TWO// The Outdoor Enthusiast

If your family is like mine, you spend a lot of time outdoors- even on holidays. Whether your Thanksgiving day includes a hike to the beach or a family football game, dressing in a warm flannel and a pair of leggings allows you to easily move while still looking cute. I’ve included Bean Boots in this outfit because I personally believe they are the perfect fall weather footwear. You’ll be warm and comfortable all day long.

OUTFIT THREE// The Showstopper

If your Thanksgiving is a fancier event, you can’t go wrong with a classic dress and flats combo. I love longer dresses for the holidays, especially with details like lace or ruffles. I do believe, however, that any dress you’re wearing should have an elastic, forgiving waist, especially when you plan on eating your weight in turkey and pumpkin pie.

Are you looking forward to the holidays as much as I am? Let me know what you’re wearing, or if I missed any outfit staples you always pack for Thanksgiving day.
