Book 45: The Energy Bus

One of my goals for 2020 is to read more. What better way than to commit to reading one book a week? 52 books in 52 weeks and I’ll be sharing every single one on the blog, every Sunday. Check in for my latest reads and recommendations.

Ryan’s uncle leant me “The Energy Bus” and I devoured it in a few nights. What an interestingly written book with such great lessons underneath the text. I love the way it’s presented, utilizing a central character and connectable story.

“The Energy Bus” is a quick read so I’m going to suggest it to everyone. You have time. However, I’m also going to leave you the 10 Rules for the Ride of Your Life here:

1. You’re the driver of the bus.

2. Desire, vision, and focus move your bus in the right direction.

3. Fuel your ride with positive energy.

4. Invite people on your bus and share your vision for the road ahead.

5. Don’t waste your energy on those who don’t get on your bus.

6. Post a sign that says “no energy vampires allowed.”

7. Enthusiasm attracts passengers and energizes them during the ride.

8. Love your passengers.

9. Drive with purpose.

10. Have fun and enjoy the ride.
