Start Today Review

I’ve been a fan of (reading, following, listening to) Rachel Hollis for a long time. However, I only recently bit the bullet and ordered from her Start Today collection. Everything was on major sale around the holidays which was opportune. I wanted to come on and share a totally honest review of the two products I purchased: the Start Today journal and the Priority Planner.

The Start Today Journal

Hollis is a marketing queen. I have always heard her speak about this journal and I really like the idea of it. I like the structure (you write the same ten dreams everyday) and the gratitude practice involved. However, my favorite part is that it really made me sit down and think. Where do I want to be in five years? Where do I want to be in ten years? Pulling those questions apart was a huge bit of soul searching and it took a few tries to really discover the answer. Now that I have, I can fill out my journal pages confidently that I’m headed in the right direction. The Start Today journal works as a reminder- a habit. It helps you focus your mindset. Is the journal revolutionary? Maybe not. It is, however, a hugely beneficial tool for you.

The Priority Planner

I’m a planner gal. Lists, charts, info graphics- you name it, I make it. I really like the Priority Planner Hollis has created because it’s specific and the format is lovely. It forces you to think big picture and then work smaller, plucking out details and goals you can really focus on. Then, it connects directly to your Start Today journal. What’s the one goal you want t to focus on now? Hollis has given you a tool to make a roadmap to get there.

I really like that the Priority Planner is more relaxed than the Start Today journal and I feel like together, you’ve got a great pair to help you towards success.

I’ve never really been one to stick with journals, but I have a really good feeling about this set. Have you used Rachel Hollis’ products before? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
